"The role of the Chief Information Officer is critical in navigating the complexities of technology in higher education. With the rise of digital transformation, it is essential to create a robust IT infrastructure that supports academic excellence and operational efficiency.

The institution is experiencing much change with a new president and many new cabinet positions, including myself as Interim Chief Information Officer. The assignment has been very rewarding and challenging, offering me the opportunity to restructure and redesign an IT organization from a blank canvas. This involves utilizing existing personnel supplemented by a significant level of managed services to support and improve the day-to-day IT operation while preparing the institution for growth and change so prevalent in the technology needs of today’s universities and colleges. I sincerely appreciate Central State University’s vision and trust in The Registry and my contributions."
