Amy Lauren Miller

Amy Lauren Miller is the President and Chief Operating Officer of The Registry, the nation’s premier firm specializing in interim leadership within higher education. With over 23 years with the company, Ms. Miller was appointed President on August 1, 2023, following 15 years of service as Vice President. She plays a critical leadership role in overseeing operations and driving the strategic growth of the firm.

 

Throughout her tenure, she has been instrumental in The Registry’s rise to national prominence, managing a wide range of functions including financial operations, legal affairs, business development, marketing, client relations, and internal team leadership. She also directs the planning and execution of the firm’s high-profile national events, including its Annual Seminar and participation in major higher education conferences.

 

Ms. Miller’s professional background also includes prior service as Executive Assistant to the Chairman of the Gorbachev Foundation and the Club de Madrid, international organizations committed to democratic leadership and conflict resolution with membership comprised of nearly 100 former Presidents and Prime Ministers from 58 countries, which makes the Club the world’s largest forum of former heads of state.  In this role, she helped coordinate global conferences and events involving former presidents and prime ministers from around the world.

 

She holds a dual degree in Marketing and Studio Art from Providence College and studied internationally at Richmond College in Florence, Italy.
