"I retired in late 2019 and soon thereafter joined The Registry in early 2020. I was familiar with Registry placements over the years and always valued the contributions Registry interims/consultants offered. Mostly it was a kind of calm perspective at a time of institutional urgency or intensity. Now on my third Registry placement, this time as Interim Provost at Earlham College (Indiana), I have the opportunity to pass along similar perspectives. At the same time, I'm amazed at how refreshing these assignments are to me personally and professionally. We will have to wait and see how things work out at Earlham, as I'm in the early stages of my work here, but thus far I have found a talented, earnest and very welcoming community.
